Ars nova music academy of Trieste organizes the music competition named
“Ars Nova International Music Competition Trieste - Paolo Spincich award”.

The event includes the competition and the masterclasses.

The auditions is held on line from 26th to 28th November 2021 and the final in presence on 5 DECEMBER 2021. The masterclasses are expected in presence in Trieste will take place from 3th to 4th December.

The auditions will take place on line from 18th  November 2021.

It is addressed to young students and children who dedicate themselves to the study of music in public and private institutions worldwide.

Execution video submission deadline - 1.00 p.m. November 18, 2021

Auditions results - Online from November 29, 2021
Masterclass - December 3-4, 2021
Final test of absolute first prizes - Gala Concert in Trieste - December 5, 2021

Regulations video:

  • A recorded video can be sent until 18 November 2021.
  • Hands and face must be visible on the video, for piano also the keyboard and pedals.
  • The video cannot be cut or edited, only one video is allowed even if different pieces are played.
  • The video can be made with video camera, smartphone, tablet or professional systems.
  • In the video message it is necessary to indicate the instrument, the category, name and surname.
  • All the videos submitted will be uploaded to the “arsnovacompetition” Youtube channel, starting from April 20th. Sending the video automatically authorizes its publication on Youtube.

PS: The video submitted for the Ars Nova Competition must not have been previously used in other contests.

It is possible to participate in a second special prize "best performance of a piece by a composer from Friuli Venezia Giulia".

All participants will be able to participate for free in the masterclasses organized by the Academia Ars Nova from 3 to 4 December 2021 in Trieste of piano, violin, flute, chamber music and clarinette.
