16° Ars Nova International Music Competition Trieste - December 2021
Ars nova music academy of Trieste organizes the music competition named
“Ars Nova International Music Competition Trieste - Paolo Spincich award”.
The event includes the competition and the masterclasses.
The auditions is held on line from 26th to 28th November 2021
and the final in presence on 5 DECEMBER 2021. The masterclasses are expected in presence in Trieste will take place from 3th to 5th December.
The auditions will take place on line from 18th November 2021.
It is addressed to young students and children who dedicate themselves to the study of music in public and private institutions worldwide.
A warm welcome to the sixteenth edition of the "Ars nova International Music Competition - Trieste - Paolo Spincich prize", coordinated and promoted by the Ars nova Academy of Trieste, which over the years has become a didactic point of reference for many student musicians from the Central European area and beyond. I greet all the participants who have come from 8 countries and in particular the students, teachers and families who have accompanied us in this special international event for many years. I thank all the entities that have favored the realization of this articulated cultural project: the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Municipality of Trieste, the Fondazione Pietro Pittini, the Beneficentia Stiftung, the Fondazione Polojaz, all the private entities and national and international partners who have allowed the selections and concerts to take place. throughout the year in Trieste, in the FVG Region and abroad. I want to thank all the members of the jury, who have often been offering us their expertise and passion for several years, and in particular to all the members and friends of the Ars nova Academy who offer theirs every year with generosity and professionalism. talents for the construction of such an important event. I would like to express a special thanks to all the teachers who have prepared their students for this moment of confrontation and meeting: their patient didactic work is the basis of this event. Finally, I thank the Spincich family, which every year supports us with passion and encourages us to continue in this adventure.
